So, I am in the middle of watching "Oprah's Big Give" show. I am hooked. I love this show. I love the purpose. Everything about it just makes me happy. It gives me such a good feeling watching them help so many people. I want to feel like that all the time.
I would love to hear what you would do if you could really help someone or an organization. Who would you help? I am not talking about just with money; I am talking volunteering, giving of your time, whatever. What do you do that fills your heart and soul? Tell me about organizations that are important to you, even the ones that not many people know about. Maybe I can help. Maybe we can all help. Let's get the word out. I just know that lending a hand to anyone who needs it will put a smile on your face.
Email me at Karina@KarinaGPhotography.com I want to hear all about what you would do, want to do, have done. Tell me your stories. I would love to share with all my clients, friends and family and maybe together we can make a difference.
Share the love. Pay it forward.
God Bless...Karina

Happy Easter!
I cannot believe it is Easter already. Where did the first three months of the year go? Hopefully soon this snow will melt, the sun will shine and the flowers will bloom. Have I told you that I am ready for summer??
We celebrated with our family today. We had our Easter dinner at my mother-in-law's home and feasted on a delicious turkey with all the works. YUMMY! It is always so much fun when the family gets together. I feel blessed to have such a fun loving family. We are all pretty close and what I love the most is that "my side" of the family always celebrates the holidays with my husband's side of the family. So we really don't have to do the bouncing from house to house. It just works out so nice. The children had the traditional easter egg hunt, but because of this lovely weather we got last night, the hunt took place in the basement rather than outdoors. It all worked out well though and the kids found all the eggs. We also had an extra special visit today from the Easter Bunny (a.k.a. Nathan, my 16 year old son). He visits us every year. This year my youngest, Bella, was absolutely terrified of him though. I mean, TERRIFIED. Poor girl wouldn't go near him - just sat and cried. I felt so bad. It's the whole "I can't see his real face" kind of thing. Anyhow, I wanted to share a couple of the snapshots I took of the Easter Bunny. The first is of my brother, Art, lovin' on the bunny. Isn't that just so cute!

The next is of Great Grandma, bless her heart. She just was so game for getting a photo with the bunny. She is one lively, go lucky lady in her young 80's, completely a hoot to be around. We always know we will have a good time with Grandma around.

Oh ya, I wanted to tell you something very important. Tonight I learned the "Soldier Boy" dance!! Well, sort of! My daughter, Kayla, and my sister-in-law, Stacey, and I practiced and practiced. I rediscovered that I am not the most coordinated person when it comes to dance routines. It actually brings back some really bad memories from high school...pom pom tryouts. OY... Anyhoo, it was so much fun making an attempt to do the Soldier Boy dance. Nathan even got up there to try it. My husband showed us his moves too, with the Running Man and the Roger Rabbit. No one can dance like my man! What a riot. A family that dances together, stays together.
Well, it's time for the Easter Bunny's assistants to help out with the baskets and stuff. The eggs need to be hidden, the baskets need to be filled and it's already midnight. I wish you all a very relaxed and happy Easter holiday.

What a nice day!
I thought that Thursday was a very nice day. Somewhat Spring-like and not so cold, like it has been here lately. It was so nice to go outdoors without that heavy winter coat, and my Bella, was all about that. She even dusted off her patton leather shoes today and danced her little dance because of the warm weather. Now she is more anxious than most, I think, about the summer weather; she is constantly asking me when she can go swimming in her pool. Just a couple more months baby!
Okay, so I wanted to post just a few photos that I have taken in the last couple of weeks. First I will post the most recent, of some new clients that came by last weekend. This family was so much fun, totally relaxed and game for anything. The kids were sweet and playful, and that little Abigail was my best model, ever. Jen, here are a few shots for you to have a sneak peak at. I will get you the rest a.s.a.p.

Now, these next couple of photos are of a high school senior, Theresa, who came with her boyfriend, Corey. A little on the shy side I guess you could say, but boy, you can't tell by looking at her photos because they are beautiful! These are just 2 of my faves from her session; and I had to get a "couples" shot. Young love, ain't it sweet!

Last 3 for the night, then I am off to catch some zzzz's. I wanted to photograph my Bella with a pettiskirt that I recently purchased. So she called her best friend, Jesse, and both of them got dressed up and modeled for me. I also shot some of Jesse's brother, Justin, who is such a cutie. He likes to model for me so I will be getting some more of him in the warmer spring days ahead. Hope you enjoy them. Have a good one!
